Release Community-Led Video to Promote Daily Health and Hygiene in Ang Snuol, Cambodia

[KANDAL, CAMBODIA] – As part of the "Disability-Inclusive Health Promotion Project," RI Korea and KOICA have launched a second educational video focused on "Daily Health Management and Hygiene." This digital content is designed to empower 300 health-vulnerable households and local residents in the Ang Snuol District to take a proactive role in their own well-being.

Practical Health Tips from Local Voices The 90-second video features active participation from both local medical professionals and village residents. It provides practical, easy-to-follow guidance on essential health practices, including:

  • Personal Hygiene: Proper handwashing and sanitation to prevent infectious diseases.

  • Daily Wellness: Routine habits to manage chronic conditions and maintain overall physical health.

  • Self-Directed Care: Encouraging residents to monitor their symptoms and seek timely medical advice.

Smart Accessibility via QR Codes To maximize reach and impact, the video is integrated with campaign posters using QR codes. Residents can instantly access the content on YouTube (https://youtu.be/oaZT8MT1Org) by scanning the posters during "Health Keeper" home visits or at local health centers.

"This video is unique because it features the faces of our own neighbors and local doctors, making the health advice much more relatable and trustworthy," said a project representative from RI Korea. "By utilizing digital platforms, we are making professional health education available to everyone in the community, at any time."
